This event combines and reimagines two existing Conservancy celebrations of great architecture and stewardship – the Chestnut Hill Architectural Hall of Fame and the Preservation Recognition Awards. Nights of Lights
(October, 5 nights)

For several nights in October, the Conservancy’s
Nights of Lights brings thousands to Chestnut Hill’s transformed Germantown Avenue from near and far. This innovative public art exhibition transforms the Avenue into an interactive experience with themed (sponsored)
slideshows of archival and other content projected through storefront windows, theatrically-lit architecture, and an active “Main Street.” This event is part of DesignPhiladelphia, a citywide showcase of Philadelphia’s creativity, innovation, and the designers who make it
happen.
