The Chestnut Hill Conservancy is dedicated to working alongside neighbors to celebrate and sustain the historic architecture, open space, and collective histories of Chestnut Hill and surrounding areas in the Wissahickon watershed. We can do this vital work through investment from generous supporters like you.

When you give a gift today, no matter the size, you help safeguard our distinctive streets, buildings, and open spaces from destruction, radical alteration, or overdevelopment for generations to come.

Thank you to all our donors who have already made a gift to this campaign – we couldn’t do this without you!

“They were there to protect 30 West Chestnut Hill Avenue from demolition and I’m proud to now call it our forever home. I am very pleased there is now a preservation easement in place to protect it in perpetuity!”
Brendan Kelly

“They were there to preserve 8720 Germantown Avenue from an uncertain future. The Conservancy responded to our concerns and added the building to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places. We look forward to welcoming our new neighbors into a beautiful, significant, and protected home that they love, on a block that’s retained its character.”
Bruce Davidson and Don Barb

“The Chestnut Hill Conservancy plays a crucial role in preserving Chestnut Hill’s unique, historic architecture, creating an atmosphere that is truly one-of-a-kind. From the charming local shops that line Germantown Avenue, to the beautiful homes, parks and trails, Chestnut Hill paints a portrait of beauty and small-town charm. Thank you to the Conservancy for the amazing work that you do for all of us.”
