Thank you for your remarkable outpouring of support and to everyone who voted for the 2023 inductees into the Chestnut Hill Conservancy Architectural Hall of Fame and those who attended our Architectural Hall of Fame Gala on Saturday, June 3.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a very special garden party gala at the beautiful, hidden, historic, seven-plus acre Boxly Estate Manor House, one of the community’s finest examples of stewardship. This rarely-seen hidden gem of almost eight eased acres on the edge of Wissahickon Park boasts stunning views and has been lovingly restored. The original Manor House for the Boxly Estate, with beautiful gardens, will be the perfect site for one of our most exciting events.

The unveiling of the 2023 Architectural Hall of Fame Inductees was certainly a highlight of the evening. However, being able to honor Rob Fleming with his friends and family in the crowd was also unforgettable. The Conservancy is proud to have presented Rob Fleming with a planted Bur Oak tree grove (his favorite!) in Pastorius Park, celebrating his lifelong commitment to the natural environment. These trees will stand for generations to come, immortalizing his legacy of landscape architecture and all of his many contributions to the entire community for all visitors to enjoy. We hope this small act of conservation and sustainability inspires you to visit the grove in this treasured public park.
