Can you name all the parts of a tree? At this month’s Explorers’ Club, students will learn about the ‘job’ of each part of the tree and how it has to keep the tree healthy! Attendees will also think about their responsibilities to help trees thrive (like avoiding compacting soil, not to pick leaves, carve names into the bark, etc.).
Free to Chestnut Hill Conservancy members; $15 for non-member families.
Tours begin on the terrace in front of the Visitor Center. The guided tour lasts approximately one hour, and concludes at the Out on a Limb treehouse exhibit, which is self-guided. For all ages.
